The tea story of Lipton Tea began when the original owner, a Scotsman has decided to turn his Lipton grocery store into a tea company after acquiring five bankrupted plantations in Ceylon. Years after that the Lipton Tea Company has never stopped producing tea. With clever advertising and catchy names the products of the Lipton Tea Company have successfully invaded the homes of loyal tea consumers. This tea story has hopefully shed light on the long history of tea.
